madebyfn is two engineers who chose to work together because they complement each other perfectly. Fadi brings systems thinking and backend depth. Nad brings product instinct and frontend craft. Together they form a complete product engineering team — without the overhead.

We started madebyfn because we kept watching good products fail for avoidable technical reasons — and good engineers fail because they worked inside bad processes.

Im Nad, a software engineer with 6 years of professional software development experience. I develop professional mobile applications that are well tailored to customer needs. In addition, i am also a researcher in the fields of Software Engineering and Business Management at University of Balamand and taught Data Structures and Algorithms at UOB. With a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering and a Master's Degree in Business, i aspire to make sustainable software solutions that become assets to every client i do business with. Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer

I've been writing software professionally for seven years, mostly on the backend. That's where I'm happiest: designing the data model, building the API, and making sure it all still holds up once real users show up. At Mannai Corporation I was the senior team lead on the backend for the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club's website. On my own I've built a booking site with an AI assistant for ARC Recovery, a Shopify storefront for THALÉON, and a two-sided marketplace app from scratch. I'll pick up the frontend when a project needs it, and it usually does. A lot of my work involves AI these days, but I'm picky about it. If a model doesn't make the product better, I'll tell you to skip it.
